WMPG To Release Local Music Compilation to Benefit USM’s Oakhurst Food Pantry
We have released a wide-ranging compilation of local music to raise emergency funding and help secure food for the USM’s Oakhurst Campus Food Pantry . On May 29th, WMPG presents a Local Motives Showcase at Blue Portland Maine ! This showcase represents some of the incredible talent broadcasted on our live show over the pass year. The return of live music to WMPG
Local Motives at WMPG returns tonight (Friday) with a live session by local band Luniere . Songwriters Calen Perkins, Jason Roman and Geoff Zimmerman met at a coffee shop open mic. What began as a weekly sharing of original songs evolved into a full-fledged band. They added drummer, Eric Landau one year later.
