One of the programming specialties that WMPG is particularly proud of is our Youth Programming. Saturday 8am there’s ChickensRPeople2. Then at 9am, it’s Middle School Mic Drop. And on Tuesdays, the high school students produce Blunt Youth Radio Project. These dedicated young people receive training in all the creative, technical and ethical journalism aspects of making public affairs radio!
Begathon ended on September 25. WMPG asks our listeners to show their love for this unique homegrown station with your financial support…. a celebration of radio freedom…of public access to the public airwaves! You can donate on-line right now by clicking here!
