The Replacements Tommy Stinson interviewed on WMPG

Tommy Stinson is a tried and true, bonafide, living rock and roll legend. He joined the irreverent and iconic Minneapolis band, The Replacements in 1979

He grew up touring America in a van and playing every bar and club from here to Timbuktu before he was even 21 years old. He started his own band, BASH & POP in 1992 and joined Guns N’ Roses in 1998.

He’s released a slew of heart-worn, bittersweet, greasy rock & roll records over the last 20 years and now he’s got a new thing called COWBOYS IN THE CAMPFIRE with his buddy, Chip.

This interview took place two weeks prior to his performance at Portland, Maine’s Sun Tiki Studios on September 5th, 2023.
