Description
A rotating cast of WMPG DJ’s broadcast live from venues around town. 
The live events runs from 4-7pm. Broadcasting live from 5:00-7pm.
WMPG’s Freaky Fridaze rolls on with a brand-new lineup of live broadcasts from some of our favorite local spots. This happy hour series takes your favorite community DJs out of the studio and into the wild, spinning records and soaking up the vibes with listeners, music lovers, and beer drinkers alike.
In August: Orange Bike Brewing. Expect fresh local brews, live DJ sets, and maybe a surprise guest or two. Whether you’re a longtime listener or just curious about what community radio sounds like live, this is your chance to plug in and raise a glass.

In September, we’re headed to The Portland Zoo (no, not that zoo—we mean the hip backyard beer garden and music haven tucked away in East Bayside). It’s the perfect place to wrap up our summer tour.

Bunker Brewing is on deck to host Freaky Fridaze for the month of October. This Portland Craft Brew institution boasts a versatile indoor / outdoor layout that is sure to prove ideal to enjoy the autumnal October beauty or provide comfortable shelter if the weather doesn’t hold out.

We kicked off July at Modestman Brewing in South Portland, where a crisp pint and sunshine set the stage for beats and summertime connections. DJs like DJ Comrade, Shaxx & Annella, DRB and Nick Benson have brought the energy, the crowd brought the moves, and together we turned a regular Friday into a freaky one.
