We hosted WMPG’s summer neighborhood block parties this summer.  We had great youth and family participation at each event and it was fun to collaborate with other partnership organisations. Local Motives at WMPG returns tonight (Friday) with a live session by local band Luniere . Songwriters Calen Perkins, Jason Roman and Geoff Zimmerman met at a coffee shop open mic. What began as a weekly sharing of original songs evolved into a full-fledged band. They added drummer, Eric Landau one year later. They now draw from their wide range of musical tastes to collaborate under the name “Luniere” on original songs that showcase vocal harmonies, pop, rock…
