“As far as consistency of thought goes, I prefer inconsistency.”
– John Cage
For years, Signal Boost was a free form eclectic program. In the summer of 2026 I decided that Signal Boost would focus on chamber, experimental electronic, classical, and generally avant-garde music.
We explore New Music as well as foundational composers who challenged audiences and peers in their time. The world of classical music can be stuffy and classist. Signal Boost aims to make challenging music accessible and explore the messy sides of chamber music.
“Value judgments are destructive to our proper business, which is curiosity and awareness.”
– John Cage
