Rhizome Radio is a show hosted by Nate Krenkel. The show is contra-genre and mines crosstones, juxtapositions and mood swings. Prior to joining the DJ staff at WMPG, Nate was a DJ at WVRK in Poughkeepsie, NY and WBOR in Brunswick. He runs the label Team Love Records, lives in Portland, and believes playlist culture is the Machine training us to nourish its greedy craving for Self. He is still mourning the loss of Nanci Griffith and Prince.
