Ken was born in Glasgow, Scotland and is now residing in Topsham, Maine.He started playing in the clubs of Glasgow, Sub Club and Fury Murrays to name a few and started digging in the second hand stores while at school, going to the all-dayers and all-nighters of the time expanded his musical tastes and on moving to London he continued his search for 45s.
He has collected records from all over the world while working his day job of being a chef in London , South Africa, Australia, and Asia.
He has played all over the world and with top DJs Keb Darge, Bob Jones , Samantha Goldie, Greg Belson ,Terry Jones to name a few, Playing at Madame Jo Jos ,The Wag , Special Branch ,Jazz Café, Dingwall’s, Detroit a Go-Go event, Deep Cliffs Weekender, Toronto Soul Weekender , Seattle Soul Weekender , Keystone soul weekender, local radio in Maine and resident at Emerald City Soul Club in Seattle for many years.
His passion is with all styles of soul/funk music across the board especially cross-over and modern.
