Third place: For this event, it’s unusual to promote a third-place winner, but this is a special case. The SMCC Culinary Arts program students created a delicious red beans and rice entry that sparked a lot of positive comment. WMPG loves students! smccme.edu/academics/degree-programs/culinary-arts
Second place: Our long-time friends at Bayside American Cafe have taken second place with their Tennessee Gumbo and Biscuits. Chef Alana Woodbury and her assistant Drew developed the dish. baysideamericancafe.com
